Expressing Happiness

Expressing happiness is used to show people’s feelings to other people.

For example :

- Terrific ! 

- Smashing.

- I’m satisfied  ...

- Splendid time there.

There are two kind of expressing happiness :

1. Formal expressions

It is used to show/sharing our feelings with the older people.

The structure :

how + adjective + s + to be

For example :

- How beautiful you are !

- How clever he is !

or,

S + to be + very pleased/satisfied with/delighted with + O/C

for example :

- He is very pleased with your help.

- I am satisfied with his help.

- Etc.

or,

I + Verb base + ...

for example :

I like ...

I love ...

2. Informal expressions

It is used to show/sharing our feelings with our closed friends.

This kind of expressions doesn’t has structure. Just use ADJECTIVE

For example :

- Wonderful !

- Amazing !

- Beautiful !

- Etc.
